When you travel abroad you will most likely have many problems and if you’re lucky you won’t get into any trouble. That is why you need to make sure that you do not have anything questionable in your bags. However, it isn’t very often that you will have something questionable given to you by the same people who are trying to protect you.
One passenger actually got his consolation prize in the form of weed. He landed at Tokyo’s Narita airport over the weekend and was accidentally given a package of cannabis.
The customs official said that he had hid the package in a suitcase - which belonged to a passenger that was coming from Hong Kong. He did this as part of an exercise for the sniffer dogs.
During the exercise they misplaced the drugs and the suitcase. They have asked anyone who received it to return it as soon as possible. We don’t see that happening any time soon!
