Police Office In Desperate Need For Coffee

A Daytona Beach police officer told employee Starbucks that they needed to give him free coffee and tea or he would give them slower emergency response time next they called in when something was wrong.

Lt. Major Garvin, a 15-year veteran, was fired July 8. According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Chief Mike Chitwood says Garvin recently failed a polygraph test that he insisted on taking.

Pantyhose Bandit Strikes Again

Camp Street has but one annoyance in their friendly neighborhood. They wake up almost every morning and find dozens of pairs of pantyhose that have been placed at the Milford school bus stop. The pantyhose that is left behind is new, used, and always queen-sized black.

Resident Laurie Warich told the Milford Daily News that she picked up 43 pairs in one day. Police have investigated one suspect - but Chief Thomas O’Loughlin said that the only crime the perpetrator has made is littering. Because of this they do not have any just cause to continue the case.
